On April 23, 2024, with organizational support from NAUFOR (the National Association of Securities Market Participants), the Autretech LLC team unveiled a simplified version of the SPM TAFS. This edition, called “TAFS Lite,” is designed for professional participants in the equities, futures, and currency markets who execute only a few transactions per day.
The event helped professional participants familiarize themselves with the practical application of the SPM “TAFS” tool:
- countering theft and internal fraud in the markets
- reducing false alarms about suspicious activity
- automatically generating draft substantiated responses to requests from exchanges or regulators
The practical capabilities of the SPM “TAFS” were showcased, and current real-world challenges were discussed. Participants had the opportunity to ask the developers and methodologists of SPM “TAFS” questions on the following topics:
- Architecture of TAFS and the modules included in the “TAFS Lite” and “TAFS Pro” versions
- Loader library and integration capabilities of TAFS
- Importing signals and rules from external systems into TAFS
- Preparation of responses to exchange requests using TAFS rule libraries
- Multi-level mechanism for reducing false positives
- Risk models, metrics, and algorithms built into TAFS
- Role models and machine learning technologies in TAFS
- Visualization of multiple clients’ trading activity simultaneously in TAFS
- Data-archiving and export modules
- Integration timeframes and server requirements for deploying the budget version, TAFS Lite
Representatives from the information security and compliance departments of banks, asset management firms, and broker-dealers, as well as attorneys from law firms acting on behalf of their clients, attended the event.
